This page is for informing about the situation of Monavate, one of external third party provider which maybe issued your card

If you have a Monavate card, you probably receive some good news by email on the 15th January 2025. In case you missed this communication we remind customers with a product/service issued by Monavate whose annual fees have been paid, and who have not chosen already another issuer, as part of the continuation of our services, you will benefit automatically and free of charge a transfer of your actual Monavate card to one of our other issuers Moorwand Ltd which will become the electronic money issuer for your VeritasCard cards, replacing progressivly Monavate from March 1st 2025 and not later than July 31th, 2025.

Therefore, from March 1st, 2025:

- Only cards issued by Monavate will progressivly be replaced which means you will not be able to load cards issued by Monavate.
- All other cards not issued by Monavate are not concerned and will be able to be loaded as usual.
- You will be bound by new terms and conditions for using your Veritas Card cards and accounts with Klopercom and our new issuer Moorwand.
- You can review Moorwand terms on our website. All card and financial services related to your VeritasCard cards and accounts, governed by new terms and conditions from March 1st, 2025, will operate normally.
- New terms per issuer can be reviewed here.

In short, from 1st March 2025: Your account and your Monavate card gradually will be automatically replaced, free of charge, by a new Veritas card not issuMonavate. You will have to use only your new IBAN, as displayed in your client interface, to load your replacement account. Please note for having a new account and new card active and operative, you will have to complete a digital identification and/or to provide any missing documents we maybe requested you.

The back of your card (the same side as the magnetic strip) will include the words “Monavate”. Alternatively, you can review the Terms & Conditions of your card.

Yes. All funds held by Monavate are safeguarded in accordance with the Company’s obligations under the European Communities (Electronic Money) Regulations 2011. These funds will continue to be safeguarded. This means cardholder funds are ringfenced and held solely for the cardholders (i.e. the owner of these funds).

VeritasCard, a brand of Klopercom, a European company and independent of its service providers and therefore has no connection with Monavate which is only one of our product and service issuing service providers. Our business has existed for over a decade and continues with another service provider.

We no longer create accounts issued by Monavate. Customers with access to the Veritas platform and have card issued by Monavate cannot use Monavate card but can continue to use all others service as normal. Customers with access to the Veritas platform and have not a card issued by Monavate can can continue to use all others service as normal. Relacement card not issued by Monavate will start from 1st March 2025, please note due to a large number of requests the delivery time may be longer than usual.

No problem, you can continue to use receive your money through one of our other services, you will have to use your new IBAN.

For being refunded by a transfer of funds to another bank account held in your name or for receiving another card NOT issued by Monavate, you have to pass a digital identification. CDD/EDD requirements can be different for each cardholder and jurisdiction.

Transfers to IBAN not issued by Monavate are not impacted and continues to operate normally. Transfers are credited upon receipt as usual. The time it takes to receive a transfer depends on how it was issued. In general, the delivery time is 24 to 48 hours. However, some social organizations schedule their payments for D+7. But iff a transfer is sent to an inactive/closed IBAN, it will be returned to the sender.

As usual, we invite you to create a ticket in your customer area. If you have problems connecting to your customer area, use the external ticket box available on our contact page. Don’t forget to specify your first and last names, telephone number and contact email

Please be extra vigilant about any emails, texts or calls you receive over the coming weeks and months. Fraudsters may try to exploit the situation by pretending to be Monavate, Moorwand or Veritas and ask you to register your details or re-register your information. Fraudsters may try also insert a fake text into a thread of genuine Monavate, Moorwand or Veritas SMS messages. Monavate, Moorwand or Veritas will never send you texts or emails with a link to a login page or website which asks you to share banking one-time passcodes.

This is concerning only cards issued by Monavate; all cards issued by other issuers are NOT concerned.
The services below will be impacted for Monavate cards only

• All load channels to your Monavate cards will be suspended: 1/load by credit card, 2/load by incoming wire (yourself, salaries, social welfare benefits, etc.), and 3/card to Card.
  
  

• Through your client interface, you can continue to use all products and services NOT issue by Monavate
• Fees and terms continue to apply as usual
• Through your client interface, In case you have a dispute open, you must provide documents requested by the legal team
• Through your client interface, you can receive a refund or chargeback

To consult your IBAN, its very simple.

1. Log in to your customer area
2. Click on the account you want to know the IBAN, then click on my IBAN. Your IBAN will be displayed here.
   (New IBANs from Moorwand will start to be displayed from March 2025)
3. Download or print your IBAN

You will need to list and inform of your change of bank details: All the organizations that pay you money and all those that may debit your account.

The status of your account is displayed in your client interface.
If a transfer is sent to an inactive/closed IBAN, it will be returned to the sender.

Cards issued by Monavate ceased to work. Then, for clients’ accounts where annual fees have been successfully collected, and to guarantee the continuity of our services, cards issued by Monavate will be progressively replaced automatically without additional cost, and a new card will be sent to the address you have indicated in your Veritas account.
